We kayak beneath the flooded forests that are home to South East Asia’s largest fresh water bird colony and paddle through the floating village of Prek-Toal. We finish with lunch on the The Saray Platform, an initiative that gives the poorest women in the village employment weaving the stems of the invasive water hyacinth into handicrafts. They can also cook a good lunch.

Full day trips to the floating village of Prek Toal and the adjacent flooded forests with their colonies of rare water birds.

An overnight home-stay in a floating house is an unforgetable experience and means we can be up early to catch the birding spectacle inside the core bird reserve
