Sihanoukville, Cambodia’s commercial port, is the gateway to the offshore islands and connected by daily flights from Siem Reap with Kep and Kampot just an hour away. Still comparatively undeveloped there is great swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking or just relaxing.

Well served by regular flights to the regional Asian hubs as well as hourly flights to Siem Reap and only a couple of hours by road to the coast. As a city 2 nights are enough but longer stays give the opportunity to visit environmental, historical and cultural attractions in the region.

Best explored by mountain bike on forest paths or take a Jeep, understand the hydrology that allowed the city to flourish for 500 years, avoid temple overload and learn the story of the Great King, picnic beside the King’s Pool, sunset views on the Angkor Thom moat with a cold beer or G&T.

This covers most of our trips, which are suitable for
children over 12 who enjoy hiking and cycling in the countryside.
Options for a combination of cycle, hike, kayak and Jeep Safari. Our route follows Angkorian roads beside brilliant green paddy fields through small villages to a reservoir, which we paddle across to find temples hidden in the forest.
A 300 meter hill towers over the Secret Lake for those with energy to burn the hilltop ruins of a 10th century temple and sunset views make the climb worth every step.
